Derek graduated from UCD in 1996. He worked in the UK for a number of years after qualifying. When he moved back to Ireland, he worked in small animal practice in Dublin before deciding to settle in Tullamore and set up Tullamore Pet Hospital in 2006. Derek greets clients and pets with a warm smile and great compassion. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary and is the Clinical Director of the Tullamore Pet Hospital.
